'Sing me a Love Song' by Iranian director Mehrdad Ghaffarzadeh has released sneak peek prior to public screening in Turkey.

The Iran-Turkey joint cinematic project features ifilm series 'Passing through the Hardships' star Pejman Bazeghi alongside Turkish singer-actor Yusuf Çim and Iranian actress Afsaneh Pakroo.

The co-production between two neighboring countries was shot in Tehran and Istanbul.

About his reasons to make the movie, Ghaffarzadeh said, “One of the reasons is Iranians love for Turkish series and Istanbul,” adding, “They know Turkish actors and also love them.”

The flick follows the story of Emre with a nice voice for singing who works at Istanbul-based restaurant as a deliveryman. He has a good relationship with his mother and oftentimes sets up solo music events for children with no parent or those experiencing bad parenting.

The orphanage children like Emre and out of nowhere, a real-estate agent comes in who wants to make trouble for children by selling their residence to an Iranian lady. In a twist, the lady together with her brother becomes embroiled in an unexpected situation.

The flick is set to make its Turkish premiere in late March 2019.
